History of the Museum

Marlow Museum was founded in 2009 by individuals who believed that a record of this historic and beautiful Town’s heritage should be preserved and displayed as a resource for all. The area covered includes the surrounding villages which make up Greater Marlow and Bisham.
Our current exhibition, Writers of Marlow, explores Marlow’s inspiring literary legacy, showcasing works and stories from authors who have called this beautiful town home.
Visitors of all ages are invited to discover the fascinating past of Marlow, learn something new, and connect with our community.
